Loved everything about this trip. So well organised, the guides were knowledgeable and caring, and pushed you to just outside your comfort zone, the gear was first rate, the size of the tour was very manageable, the food was excellent, and Tasmania absolutely shone. We might have just picked the best week ever to do this trip weather wise, but I think with the knowledge and experience of the guides it would have been a great trip even if it was snowing in February, which is likely in Tasmania! Organise yourself a tour now, don't wait. My new moto for life is WHY NOT, and this trip was everything I hoped it would be. A lot of that has everything to do with the fantastic group of ladies I travelled with and the rest is up to the well organised tour and fab guides. Thanks Ashton and Mick - Loved it all, even when I thought climbing Mt Amos was a stupid idea!

Great trip with lots of variety in activity. The locations visited were great - extremely memorable and uniquely Tasmanian. We wouldn't change a thing! The trip adequately also catered for different fitness levels (and diets).

In addition to a well planned trip, we had fantastic guides - Lilly and Brenton. The trip could not have been as enjoyable without the knowledge and information that they provided and their passion for what they do. We cannot be grateful enough. Their care and concern, and efforts with food we're well above expectation. The level of detail and creativity by Lilly with food, in such a limited environment was amazing!

Tasi Expeditions well done! Safety and customer service were continuously demonstrated to be a priority.

Both of our guides ( Ashton and Pip) were excellent. They made me feel safe, they had great knowledge about Tassie and they had great energy. Because of high temperatures and bush fire threat our guides had to change parts of the itinerary , but they were very upfront about that and they still managed to keep everyone happy. Don't lose those 2 young champions.

Maria Island was great, nice scenery, team spirit of the group, quality of food. We had 2 tour guides in our trip, Pip was golden ... Sharing her love for the nature and Tasmania. She was really caring and available. Professional and friendly, I highly recommend her and need to congratulate for her a great job.

Holly and Ash our guides made a great trip an outstanding and unforgettable adventure. A great group of like minded participants helped and all individuals needs and abilities were catered for. The 6 days were full of new experiences with plenty of activities and great food (prepared by our expert guides). I would/will recommend this trip to anyone looking for a well organised active tour with variety, excitement, great scenery (you have to hike, cycle, kayak to see it) and good home made meals. Thank you to Holly, Ash and Tasmanian Expeditions!

Great guides, good food and good company combined with challenging and fun outdoor activities made the trip unique. I felt like I had enjoyed a grease and oil change by the end of it! Thank you to Ash and Holly!

Climbing/walking up Mt Amos. It was a challenging climb that left you with a real sense of achievement once you reached the summit and saw the view of Wineglass Bay.

A wonderful trip! Ash and Ashton were fantastic guides, they were informative, caring, a good laugh and great cooks. Perfect mix of different types of activities. Maria Island is beautiful and we saw lots of animals and at night the big sky and the stars are breathtaking. It was a small taste of what Tassie has to offer and now I want to see more!

Hello - Just a quick message to say what a wonderful time I had on the trip.My compliments to Simon, Thomo and Michael who were guides of the utmost high standard, always helpful, upbeat and fun. Food was excellent.....breakfast, lunch and dinner plus pre-dinner nibblies which everybody looked forward to every afternoon.A wonderful trip! I would recommend this trip to anybody who likes the active outdoors!

Simon and Lily were wonderful guides. We enjoyed their company, their expertise, and their care very much.
For the bikes, I remember asking whether each bike would have bottle cage and small bag to carry our phone and camera. Turns out not all bikes have bottle cage and none has small saddle bag.

Perfect combination of different activities, great group of people and scenery, in particular Maria Island, made this a memorable trip. Big shout out to the guides who were organised, enthusiastic and personable. Highly commended goes to Paul whose passion for the Tassie state & wilderness was impressive. Well done guys!

My daughter and I just completed the 6 day cycle, kayak, hike trip with Tas Ex. An outstanding trip with a great group of like minded people. As first timer adventure holidayers we were impressed with the relaxed nature of the trip and the feeling of a special holiday. Our guides Thommo and Stef were fantastic. Informative, enthusiastic, good cooks and obviously loved what they were doing. Even dragged "The Boss" out of the office when we blew a tyre on the trailer. He was able to provide us with a spare trailer until ours was repaired, all within about 36hours. Maria Island is a very special part of the world. Highly recommended. Thanks Tas Ex for a wonderful 6 days. Already looking for our next adventure.

My 12 year old son and I embarked on the "cycle, kayak & tour tassie" 6 day trip. The two guides were interested, involved and thoroughly entertaining, not to mention wonderful cooks. Tasmania was more than I had ever imagined and we experienced serenity on long coastal bike rides, marvelled at the vistas after long climbs and saw pristine beaches at every turn. There were ten of us on the tour and any nerves I had had at being at close quarters with strangers were quickly dispelled as we all found a mutual love for what we were experiencing. What a relief to have accommodation pre-booked after a busy day and always in great places. Maria Island was a highlight - the climb was incredible. There were times the bike rides were a bit much for my son but he was encouraged to join Alex in the coach, who included him fantastically. An amazing experience.

Tommo and Simon were amazing. They did all that they could to make sure that we all had a fantastic vacation and it really is these two who turned a good vacation into a great one. The way they worked to make sure that everyone was accommodated, fit or unfit, fast or slow was just great. I would highly recommend Tas Ex and certainly you will be top of our list for consideration when we come back.

Thanks to Tasmania Expeditions for a great cycle, hike and kayak trip. The tour guides were excellent and I have learnt a great deal about Tasmania, it's history, flora & fauna. Can't wait to book another holiday with Tas Ex.
