Scott who gave us the briefing went above and beyond the call. He picked is up from the airport when our plane was delayed and we were going to be late for the briefing. He was professional and made the experience even more memorable.

We cannot speak highly enough of our experience! From booking to equipment, food, communication, briefing and transport to and from we had a fabulous experience. The track was challenging but great and the facilities were fine for what we wanted to experience.

We booked through Tasmanian expeditions who provided all the good quality heavy gear, food and transport to and from Launceston. We found them to be exellent and punctual (thanks Scotty). Fortunately we had perfect weather and we met a good group of people along the way. The track itself was a challenge but well worth experiencing. It is a very beautiful and pristine part of the world and we should count ourselves priviledged to have it in Australia. All the park rangers we met along the way were courteous and helpful and all the huts were in good order and practical.

Firstly thank you for all the help you gave us on our overland adventure. We couldn’t fault anything at all in how Tasmanian Expeditions helped make this a stress free adventure for us.

I am just wondering if you could tell me the brand etc of the sleeping bag, air mattress, tent and jacket we used on the trek and do you ever sell these off second hand?

We have recommended the company to many people since our return and my sister-in-law, her son and his friend are planning to do the trek through you sometime this year.

We are looking at doing a trek in the snowy mountains in December this year and found all the items Tasmanian Expeditions provided us with to be very warm, comfortable and suitable.

Thank you for anything you can find out.

A. Henley Newport, QLD.
